Onebitheroes Corp. was founded in december 2001 as a commercial operation to take over the running of Larkinor MMORPG, underlying technologies and other developement (intranet based). The first month after launch over 5000 people subscribed making Larkinor instantly one of the largest web based multiplayer games in Hungary. After the successful Hungarian start the company has created the English version which had 270.000 subscribers in the first year.
In 2005 the company has started to develope mobile multiplayer games. The first product which has reached the beta testing phase is HexaWars a turn based multiplayer strategy game.
We intend to become a significant online operator in the mobile multiplayer gaming markets worldwide; developing and commercializing creative strategy and adventure games that appeal to as wide an audience as possible, based on our client-server architecture developed in house.
Our ambition for 2006 is to publish our first three multiplayer mobile games and start building a gamer community.
